Individual Therapy
Parenting is an intense experience. Modern parenting puts huge demands on our time and energy. Parents are constantly judged by ourselves and others. We are bombarded with advice about the “right” way to parent. We and our children constantly fall short of the unrealistic expectations we form. We are somehow supposed to “do it all”, while making it look effortless and somehow cherishing every moment.

- Exhausted
- Alone
- Unsupported
- A Failure

Parents of High Needs Children
If parenting under the best of circumstances is all-consuming, for those of us whose children are high intensity or high needs, life is even more overwhelming. It is hard enough to try to follow through any given parenting style or technique. It is terrifying when one by one, those schools of thought fail to yield results. You find yourself reacting and feeling personally out of control rather than parenting in any intentional way. You feel like a failure.
Does This Sound Like Your Life?
- Days filled with unpredictable events.
- Your denied the satisfaction of completing tasks…completing anything.
- Losing yourself while constantly ‘being the mom’, helping your kids.
Couples Counseling
Co-parenting is a minefield for even the most solid couples. It is hard enough to be open and vulnerable and communicate clearly around matters of the heart and everyday living as partners. These challenges are taken to a whole new level when trying to shepherd tiny humans toward functional adulthood. Gender roles are so hard to balance, it is so hard to agree on the right strategy…

Group Work
Group Work provides a place where you come together with others to share problems or concerns, to better understand your own situation, and to learn from and with each other. Under the leadership of a therapist, you will learn about yourself and improve your relationships with other people. You will gain self-understanding and skills for dealing with your concerns. In a typical session, which lasts about 60-120 minutes, members work to express their own challenges and aspirations, feelings, ideas, and reactions as freely and honestly as possible. Groups are held both in-person and online, and you can speak with the therapist about what they offer. Members learn not only to understand themselves and their own issues but also become therapeutic helpers for other group members.
“I provide a nurturing, supportive environment enabling you to regain your strength and emotional stability”.
